I became acquainted with Tony a number of years ago, and when I purposed to make some personal and professional improvements, bringing Tony in was an easy decision. As CEO of a 30-year-old family-owned business, being teachable is the easiest part of my job.
To successfully engage the decisions and trials our teams were facing, I was in need of a confident, capable and willing mentor. Tony was just that, and his attitude was all in. He has encouraged me, coached me, counseled me, and lifted me and my family in prayer. He has provided both personal and professional wisdom; each of those easily crossing over into the other. During the year and a half Tony spent with us, many goals were realized and exceeded along with the residual overflow into other areas.
Some of our most impactful accomplishments and areas of direct influence during this timeframe were: relationship-building and communication with immediate family members/owners as well as company leaders and employees; helped organize leadership teams with unifying goals and taught how to have consistent, productive meetings; engaged the leadership team in a process to eliminate our back-order status; implemented progressive software in both companies to provide critical and reliable feedback; identified areas of waste, repetition and inefficiency throughout the production process and helped facilitate elimination of the issues; helped prioritize the return on investment on manufactured products to eliminate low-margin offerings; positioned the company to broaden its narrow base of customers; began the process of moving to a sales-driven platform to assure future growth and profitability.
Tony operates consistently with honesty and integrity, and I’m thankful for the time and effort he devoted to me, my family, our team, and our companies.
